Mayuri & Hemal – Rome, GA
This four day wedding extravaganza is one that our team will never forget! This couple is truly so special to us and their love for each other could not have been better captured than by the skills of Mariah Mirchandani with Pure Motion Films and the entire team at Events by SPL. The quote in the opening of this film is Mayuri's favorite by Thich Nhat Hanh, a Vietnamese Buddhist monk. It sheds light on Mayuri and Hemal's deep found love and respect four their families, traditions and values passed down by their before them. The entire event was beautifully designed by Ragini Patel with Wedding's InStyle, complete with an 80 ft raised aisle for her ceremony and stunning crystal mandap. Mayuri's vidai farewell was heart wrenching to watch as the entire family's tears flowed seeing their beautiful Mayuri married off. The evening ambiance was completed by Prime DJ's and their light design skills and music that kept the crowd going through the night. With dry ice foggers and CO2 jets set in place, Mayuri and Hemal's reception entrance was dreamy and flawless...it felt surreal just watching it happen. Even though it was a 700 person wedding, it truly felt like the most heartfelt intimate wedding because of the love this couple shares for each other and everyone around them.
Hema & Vishal – Tallahassee, FL
Ever meet someone and your connection is so great that you feel you've known each other for years? This couple was definitely that for me. I truly enjoyed working on this wedding and am moved the strong relationship we created. I loved this wedding because it was simple and classic but with a twist of fun pattern lighting provided by Prime DJs that was absolutely elegant! I loved way the groom seems to make the gorgeous bride turn all glowy and smiley. This traditional wedding features a bride so lovely, you can’t help but be over-the-moon happy for her. This Florida based Indian wedding was held at the Florida State Stadium Stadium where the groom's baraat was held on a parade float. The bride and groom arrived on horse and carriage for their outdoor cocktail hour and surprised their guests during the grand entrance which started as a "dream" on screen turning into reality on the dance floor. The production of the film took place in Orlando, FL where Schuyler Osborne and his skilled team created their "dream concept story" that lead the couple to their first dance as their grand entrance. Vendors were carefully selected from Florida, Georgia and even as far as New Jersey where we ordered her custom aisle runner designed by the same team that created the Kardashian wedding aisle runner. The all white draped room which gave off a tent like feel, was flawlessly designed by Ragini Patel with Weddings InStyle. The look on the bride and groom's face when they saw the final touches come together gave me is the warmest feeling for all of us involved. The outcome was something totally personal and touching.

Raj & Carolyn: Kingsport, TN
For Raj and Carolyn’s wedding, we pulled together two beautiful wedding ceremonies to reflect both of their Guatemalan and Indian cultures. With 7 events in total, there were a lot of details to pull together in just five months! We started with a private Hindu ceremony at home, followed by an amazing Rehearsal Dinner. The following morning we began our day with their Catholic ceremony and had the most adorable trolley service take the bridal party to the Brunch Reception where they were greeted with the most delicious brunch menu all prepared by the team at the Maple Lane Farm. That evening everyone danced the night away at their Garba, until they could dance no more! On the final day we ended with a Hindu ceremony and reception that left everyone amazed. From mason jars filled with fresh lemonade to hand designed chocolates favors, this wedding had crazy cute wedding details tucked into every corner.
Reshma & Deval: Orlando, FL
For their nuptials, we searched for months looking at various locations in Orlando, FL to host their Jain/Hindu Guajarati Wedding for about 300 guests. We eventually decided on the internationally sophisticated Epcot Center for their Welcome Dinner where we started the night at “China” for a buffet dinner, followed by an outdoor dessert reception at “Italy” with an amazing firework extravaganza titled Illuminations. The night ended at Blue Martini for their after party which started their weekends’ festivities. Their classy “South Beach” themed reception at the Hilton Walt Disney World Resort featured a lounge cocktail hour and white draped stylish reception designed by Occasions by Shangrila.
